We invite you to participate in the Polish National Dance Festival. Michał Kosiński.
 

An exceptionally prestigious event returns to the festival map in Poland. The Polish Section of CIOFF® invites you toPolish National Dance Festival Michał Kosińskiwhich is starting already in autumn. Teams from all over the country are invited to participate in the event, they present Polish dance traditions, with particular attention to the style and nature of the dance, dance technique and choreographic value. During the finals of the festival in Sokołów Podlaski, the 4 best bands will perform on one stage, and one of them will receive an awardGrand Prix of the Polish CIOFF® Section.

 

Polish National Dance Festival Michał Kosińskiaims to create a platform for presenting the dance achievements of Polish dance groups developing or styling folklore. The jury, consisting of experts in the field of dance and folklore, will assess not only the representativeness of the repertoire in terms of ethnographic, artistic and historical values, but also take into account the stage value of the presentation. He will focus on the principles of composition, dance and performance technique of dancers, as well as the general style and character of the presented choreographies . 

We are very pleased that after a few years of break, the festivalim.cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ MICHAŁ KOSIŃSKI(the founder of not only the Polish Section, but also the world organization CIOFF®) will be re-organized. Thanks to the cooperation withSokołów Center of Culturethe final of this event, in 2022, will be held in Sokołów Podlaski. The plans include not only festival concerts, but also concerts and workshops at schools, a scientific conference, workshops and an integration event for dancers. We hope that the festival will become an opportunity to meet and integrate the dance community.
